Looking at Bicycling Deaths

Pick one of the following Bicycling Deaths–search for information beyond the links I give.  Be prepared to talk about:
1. How did it happen?  What could have prevented it?  Was there fault involved?
2.  How was it reported?  (What language was used?  Did the language normalize the event? What words were used to describe it?)
3.  How was it memorialized?
4.  Did anything change afterwards?
Be prepared to talk about your case in class!  You are free to find and research another case, but again, but prepared to talk about it in class.  (It would be interested to look at cases of people of other races, ethnicities or ages and see if they get different public responses.)
