The AARP and the League of American Cyclists have put out a great deal of information on bike audits <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aarp.org\/livable-communities\/getting-around\/aarp-bike-audit-tool-kit.html\">here<\/a>.  For class, I would like you to read their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aarp.org\/content\/dam\/aarp\/livable-communities\/getting-around\/2023\/bike-audit-tool-kit\/AARP%20Bike%20Audit%20Tool%20Kit-singles-09292023.pdf\">toolkit<\/a>.  Also watch <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=mEmJ3yNz_dg\">this<\/a>  video on bike audits and complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/s7NiJrGvq5y6JnRBA\">Bike Audit Route Preference Form. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thinking about things we might do:<br>Check with the Raleigh police (or NCSU police) for statistics on collisions between people riding bicycles and people driving cars (or either alone).  <a href=\"https:\/\/raleighnc.gov\/safety\/places\/southwest-district\">Here <\/a>is the webpage for the district of the Raleigh police that includes NCSU. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of the key tools we will be using in this course in our study of biking around NCSU is a bike audit.
