One of the key tools we will be using in this course in our study of biking around NCSU is a bike audit. The AARP and the League of American Cyclists have put out a great deal of information on bike audits here. For class, I would like you to read their toolkit. Also watch this video on bike audits and complete the Bike Audit Route Preference Form.

Thinking about things we might do:
Check with the Raleigh police (or NCSU police) for statistics on collisions between people riding bicycles and people driving cars (or either alone). Here is the webpage for the district of the Raleigh police that includes NCSU.
